Dr. John Balzano, MD. joined the staff of Open MRI of Steubenville and Beaver Valley in August, 2004 as our full time, in-house radiologist.

Dr. Balzano is a graduate of the Medical College of Pennsylvania and completed his Diagnostic Radiology residency as well as his fellowship at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. He is board certified by the American Board of Radiology. He interprets all the MRI studies for Open MRI in both the Steubenville and Beaver Valley offices. He also interprets the Spinal CT and Dedicated PET procedures in the Steubenville office. Dr Balzano interprets the Bone Density (DEXA) and diagnostic ultrasound procedures, as well as performing MR Anthrography at our Beaver Valley center.

Dr. Balzano is a life-long resident of the Ohio Valley where he resides with his wife and family.
